Dear UA members, Congratulations! We’re crawling together across the finish line of this unusual academic year. Let’s recognize the superhuman effort this required. We celebrate their huge organizing victory!

The testimonials from our members and leaders tell the story. We were so pleased to provide annual United Academics scholarships to 7 outstanding students this year. Please read about their remarkable work here. Thank you to UA’s Scholarship Committee, including committee chair Prudence Doherty and committee members JB Barna, Eric Lindstrom, and Cheri Morse. We want to honor Keith Burt, our amazing outgoing Grievance Officer, who steps down this week after serving UA members for four years. Keith is outstanding. Every faculty member who has needed support with a problem, had a question, or been through the grievance process respects and appreciates what Keith does for our members. Keith, thank you for your incredible work, and thank you for being a good human. In a few weeks we’ll also say goodbye to Julie as she retires, and we’ll welcome our new President, Ellie Miller.
